Julie received her LL.B. in 2002 and LL.M. in 2004, both from Renmin University of China Law School. She later obtained her Juris Doctor from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia in 2021 and was called to the Bar in British Columbia in 2022.

During her time at Allard Law, Ms. Qiu completed the Business Law Concentration Program and developed experience in business, real estate, family law, and wills and estates. In 2025, she became a certified Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) in North America.

Ms. Qiu is committed to helping clients navigate challenges in family matters and estate planning. With this goal in mind, she founded UH Law in UBC Wesbrook community, providing professional and efficient legal services. Her practice focuses on residential and commercial conveyancing, wills and estates, family law, and business law. She is known for delivering practical, trustworthy, and cost-effective legal solutions.

Ms. Qiu is a practising member of the Law Society of British Columbia and Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, and volunteers with Access Pro Bono.
